Balam Beach Villa, is a brand new custom modern 3 story home on a large private beachfront lot in Maya Beach. The home features 4 bedrooms all with ensuite baths, a large eat in open concept kitchen, 2 living areas and a large open dining room. The massive pool with large deck overlooks the beach and ocean. The two large primary suites located on the second floor have amazing views of the ocean as well as private covered patios.

The large open rooftop deck with ample seating and lounge space provide the perfect place for sun-tanning and offers an amazing panoramic view off the ocean, mountains and a perfect spot to watch both the sunrise and sunset as well as the night stars.

Balam beach Villa is located on a beautiful sand beach lot in Maya Beach. This area provides for a very private beach setting, yet it is close to fine dining and other upscale resorts in an exclusive section of Placencia.

The home comes with a dedicated team of staff to ensure it is cleaned and maintained to the highest standards and to make your stay an incredible experience.

Ground Floor:

2 beautifully appointed bedrooms with ensuite baths can be found on the ground floor. Bedroom 3 has a king bed and overlooks the pool deck. Bedroom 4 has a queen bed and is recommended for children or a single adult due to space, but can sleep 2 adults. An open-concept kitchen, dining area and smaller living area with sofa and a large TV is also on this floor.

First Floor (2nd level):

Second Floor/Rooftop (3rd level):

Placencia is the second most popular tourist destination located in Southern Belize. It is located on a 16 mile long peninsula that is surrounded by the Placencia Lagoon on one side and the Caribbean Sea on the other. It is much smaller, less congested and more laid back than Ambergris Caye / San Pedro. Being on a peninsula and not an island, Placencia provides easy access to the Belize Rainforest and many activities on the mainland like Mayan Ruins, waterfalls, zip lining and cave tubbing to name a few. Placencia offers numerous restaurants, small shops and bars and is home to famous Placencia Sidewalk and is the perfect place for an amazing Caribbean vacation.

Getting to Placencia 

All international flights go in and out of the Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) in Belize City.

After booking, you’ll receive a link to our Travel Portal where you will enter the international flight information for everyone in your group. You will also indicate your preference for in-country transportation from the Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) to Placencia.

Your concierge will reach out to confirm and book either of the first two options for you:

Option 1

FLYING – The flight from the airport to Placencia is 30 minutes and cost $291.50 USD round trip per person. If this is the option you would like please indicate it in the travel portal and enter all your group’s international flight details in the portal. After purchasing your tickets here , your concierge will receive the order and refer to the portal to book these local flights. Your concierge will also arrange pick up from the Placencia airstrip to the property. 

Option 2

PRIVATE SHUTTLE – This is approximately 2 hour 15 minute drive from the airport to Placencia and cost $649.69 USD round trip (tax included) for up to 3 passengers then $56.25 for each additional person round trip (14 passengers max). Once you’ve also entered all your group’s international flight details in the portal, your concierge will reach out to connect you with the shuttle operating team who you will make payment to directly. The shuttle will transport you directly to the property.

Option 3

You also have the option of renting a private vehicle yourself from one of the car rental agencies at or near the airport. Your concierge can provide driving directions to the property.

You can choose a different option for your arrival and departure or your group can be split with some flying and some taking the shuttle. Please be sure to indicate travel preferences in the Travel Portal.
